Time-based estimations don’t work for every team. For those who do use them, this Google Sheet will automatically calculate timelines based on estimated work and contingency weeks.
Weekly Estimates: You can view the sheet or clone it on Google Drive.
Quarter and Annual-Based: You can view the sheet or clone it on Google Drive.
About The File
On the top row, dates within a 60 day rolling timeframe are shown in black, while dates further out are shown in grey to denote that estimates are more tentative the further out they go.
By typing “Yes” in the “Verified Estimate” column, the ability to mark an estimate as verified or not.
This sheet currently supports three swim lanes. More can be added by copying rows and adjusting the conditional formatting colours.
